Collector Car, double-wishbone suspension front & rear, VTEC H-series 2.2 Liter, 8000 RPM Redline, Very clean interior, Well-taken care of, garage-kept by original owner, rare 2-door coupe, classic Honda with superior engineering handling and style.
All original unmodified 5th gen Prelude. The interior is very clean and original, never smoked in and no tears. All electronics work and includes working radio/CD player. Includes original spare tire but no jack.
The Prelude are well-engineered sports cars with racing heritage and exceptional timeless styling. The Prelude was the less loved, but also expensive (k in 2001 or k in 2021 dollars) front-wheel drive sports car from Honda but true Honda/Acura enthusiasts no that the Prelude received the best technology and engineering, and most comfortable plush interior. There’s no evidence online, but I would make the assumption that the 5th gen Prelude was engineered and styled to the NSX.
Brakes changed at 211k - Brembo Front Rotors, Stoptech Rear Rotors & Pads, Motul RBF600 Race Brake Fluid. Service performed by Honda of Princeton NJ.
Power Steering Hard line replaced at 211k, flushed and replaced with Honda PS Fluid.
Oil Cooler Seal replaced at 211k.
Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil replaced at 5,000 mile intervals
Transmission Fluid changed by previous owner at 14x,xxx miles
Tires look very good tread.
Runs excellent, handles amazing, perfect for project car or track build.
Known concerns include, but not limited to the following: Dent and minor rust on passenger side quarter panel, few dings shown in pictures, valve cover gasket and vtec solenoid gasket requires attention, last known timing belt and water pump changed at 110k, a/c R134 was recharged and sealed but a leak may be present but currently blows cold air, may require coolant flush, transmission shifts normal with no issues but the automatic are known to have issues (previous owner may of had this serviced).
