Here’s a beautiful brand-new set of AGED simulated ivory grips for your Second or Third Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver.
These are heavy, quality grips with beautiful, highly polished to enhance the beauty of the grip.  Being made of a synthetic material, these will stand up well to the rigors of use better than real ivory.  These are ONLY for the "second or third generation" Colts, and not for the first generation guns.  These are polished to a high gloss, making the grain patterns stand out even more.  They are then artificially aged to provide a well-used and vintage appearance by a process that avoids the long time normally needed to naturally age ivory to look like this.  These are ONLY for the genuine Colt Single Action Army 2nd & 3rd Generation revolvers and do not fit 1st gen guns nor do these fit the replicas of the genuine article.
This version of these grips adds a gold-colored "Rampant Colt" medallion on each grip panel near the top, as shown in the photos.   If you'd like a set similar to these but without the medallions on each grip panel, please see our other listings.
If you're familiar with these Colts, you know that fitting will likely be needed as the grip frame dimensions of individual guns varied during production.  The second- and third generation Colt SAA are known to require custom fitting of any grips.  Each Colt Single Action grip must be fitted to the specifc individual gun. These grips for the Single Action 2nd and 3rd generation guns are made slightly oversized to the frames to allow for fitting.  We have not fitted these to any of the many replicas and copies of the Colt SAA available and thus are not aware of another guns these might fit.  We only provide these for the Colt SAA 2nd and 3rd generation revolvers.

The grip set you will receive one set similar to those shown.  The exact shade and grain may differ, as the aging process intentionally avoids having every set's grain be identical - like the results of a natural aging process.

The grips have inserts to protect them while providing a secure attachment for the included grip screw.
These are produced in the USA by craftsmen using modern equipment to allow these to be sold at a price that is affordable.  They're smooth-sided, too, so the grip's appearance really stands out.
These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel.
This is a great way to improve the appearance and handling of your gun while adding the look of fine wood to your Ruger.  They complement blued or stainless guns equally well.
These grips are ONLY for the guns listed above, and do not fit other models.  Ask questions before you purchase if you are not sure which grips might be needed for your pistol, and I will try to help you.
