It is very sturdy, made from heavy gauge steel and will attach to any 2" dia. pole or add an additional rubber pad to the inside of the clamp and it will attach to a 1.75" dia. pole, the size used on multiple medical carts.  The pole clamp adjusts by just pulling and releasing a heavy duty pin to change the angle and height, the tray opens to a little over 8" wide to accept any standard keyboard.  It originally had a mouse and palm rest pad bonded to it, they have been removed.  The trays may be removed from the arm for shipping, they attach easily with two screws each.
