Genuine Faberge Two Color 56 Standard (14K) Gold Enamel & Diamond Jewel Set Imperial Presentation Cigarette Case, Odessa, 1913.
One of two imperial presentation cases known to have been ordered from the Odessa workshop 1913.
Dual panel enthroned bellflower scepters, each mounted with a .20 carat VS white diamond Sun, flank a central raised medallion with 4 applied .5 pt each, VS white diamond set 4 corners of the Earth bows on a laurel wreath sun/globe, surmounted with the imperial crowned Russian double headed eagle grasping a Globus cruciger (orb) & sovereign scepter,  its breast emblazoned in cobalt enamel with the monogram of Tsar Nicholas Alexanrovich II.  A familiar motif representing the Romanov Empire, upon which the sun never set.
Marked on interior lid and interior side of box with Cyrillic initials K.F. and 56 Standard (14K) gold hallmark.
