I bought a lot of tools at an auction that included some that I know little or nothing about and have tried to identify them using various tool guides etc. This is a

BLACKSMITH MADE HANDFORGED FARRIER'S CLINCH BLOCK CLINCH ANVIL –
a small metal block with an angled end. The clinch block is put underneath the nail end to help set the nail before being clinched down. Using a clinch block helps ensure that the nail bends at its base, close to the hoof, as it's clinched, instead of bending near the tip.(Inv no 0162) Please email any questions. The clinch block has a total length of about 3 ¾ x 1 7/8 x 2 1/4 inches. Overall they are in very good to fine condition and show very little signs of use. I am selling themas an antique but I think it could still be used. Starting price is .95. Shipping weight is 2 pounds 10 ounces.
