MISSION ARTS & CRAFTS ELEGANT HAMMERED COPPER TEA POT, OIL BURNER WROUGHT FRAME

Description

This is one of the more vintage elegant designs in Arts & Crafts/Aesthetic/Mission Period, with a beautifully shaped tea pot above a matching burner, held in a hand wrought metal aesthetically pleasing stand...very precisely made. The stand with the pieces in place it measures approx. 13" H and 8" W, set upon gracefully shaped feet.  the handle on the tea pot is precisely formed, likely made of pewter with a wrapped bamboo handle to protect from heat.  There are no marks indicating maker or origin, but its excellent quality sets it apart as being made by an advanced artisan.  The kettle has two small impressions which are shown in the 8th and 9th photos, but they are not scratched so the surface has the original patina, as does the entire kettle and burner.  It was certainly made in the first quarter of the 20th C. The weight of the entire unit is approx. 2 pounds.  CHeck out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
