ORIGINAL VINTAGE SCHUETZEN TANG SIGHT FOR GERMAN TARGET RIFLES

Description

This sale is for a German schuetzen target rifle sight. The rectangular base and double round shafts, is atypical and was used on a variety of systems from falling block to martini and other feuerstutzen systems. Most of these sights have to be re-fitted to the rifles because they were manufactured by numerous gun makers and were not standardized. Dimension of the round shafts at the bottom of the sight base is .350". Designed as a longer range sight, it will not accept the disk for shorter range shooting; I
have seen this type of sight being modified to accept a disk.
It is in excellent mechanical condition with smooth adjustments.
Although returns are possible, the procedure is bothersome; therefore
I will gladly answer questions before the sale to help a buyer make a good decision.
