Hand Tool for setting semi-tubular rivets(

for 1/8 Diameter Semi-tubular 7/32 Truss Head Rivets
. The frame tool was cut with CNC Laser out of a 3/8 steel plate, and all the moving parts are Lathe cut out of Stainless Steel bars.
The tool is good to roll up rivets that are used on mostly pressed steel toy trucks, such as Tonka, Buddy L, Nylint, Structo, Marx or even foreign ones. It also works for many other riveting applications like pintball machines, lamps, old cars window vent frames, you name it.
The tool measures 6 in. x 4 in. overall in a clamped position and there is a clearance of 2 3/4 in. from tip to tip when
fully extended
.
There are 2 1/2 in. from the arch edge; this feature allows you to squeeze rivets farther from your project's edges or within tighter spots, it goes deeper for better results.
It is time to stop using the classic manual little pin set drove with a ball hammer to roll the end of a rivet. This new tool squeezes the rivets to roll them smoothly, without the need for an extra hand or a hammer. It leaves a professional finish, without leaving any trace or scratches on your freshly painted surface.
The tool has the tips built in, so it does not have detachable or
interchangeable dies. If you want it with the interchangeable dies system, please go to my eBay store.

I'm including a handful of rivets 1/8 x 1/8 x 7/32 for your
convenience.
I
also
have rivets, all with a 1/8 diameter, but of varying lengths, which are: 4/32, 5/32, 6/32, 7/32, 8/32 & 9/32. They are also available in a convenient pack with all six sizes, you can find them in my eBay store as well.
Please note that this tool is intended to roll up ONLY Soft Steel or Aluminum Rivets.
NEVER use it to roll up Stainless Steel rivets,
Copper rivets, or any other hardened metals. If you do so, it may result in a damaged tool.
