Vintage 2 Qt Farberware Tea Pot Kettle Stainless Steel Swoop Handle Yonkers NY

Description

This tea kettle holds about two quarts of liquid.  Inside dimensions are about 6.5" by 4".  From the tip of the spout to the back of the handle is about 10.25".  There are at least two versions of this kettle.  This one has straight sides and the other that I have seen has rounded or bulging sides.  Mine, I believe, is a slightly older version.  It is used.  There is discoloration on the inside.  There are also thousands of very small marks made by the three pressure points of the lid, to keep it from falling out.  There is a minor dent along the lower edge, just below the spout.  Also, there is a 2" long hairline crack in the stainless, extending downward from the left corner of the spout (see last photo).  I filled the pot to the brim and let it sit overnight and did not detect a leak at the "crack".  The handles to the lid and the pot are secure.  The bottom surface of the pot shows some burn marks that would look better if they can be cleaned.
