    Description

    Quite well-preserved, vintage aluminum Colonial style tea kettle has a lovely "bird spout" and great overall form! All original working hardware
    (brackets, etc.), with the exception of one newer replaced screw on the right side of the handle.  Lovely
    wooden handle & original lid with wooden finial top.  The interior (see photo #9) is rusty/dirty. The kettle itself maintains it's original patina, and grunge. I don't dare clean such things. If there are any markings on the bottom of the kettle, they're long worn off by use & heat. Date of this item is unknown. I'm guessing WWll era or possibly earlier. Condition is good, overall, with a few very small dents, which just add to it's charm. I'd

    this pc. is for decorative purposes only, but if you really cleaned it thoroughly,  I bet it would be usable & fine for camping. This was discovered in an elderly family member's barn recently, but otherwise, unsure of it's use & history. This would make a great play or movie prop!
    Overall dimensions of 10" tall from top of handle to bottom of kettle x 10" across at widest part of base.
