Vintage Griswold Aluminum 2 Qt. Teapot Wood Handle A-513

Description

For your consideration is a vintage Griswold 2 qt. tea pot.  It appears to be aluminum.  The kettle has a wood handle and a wood knob on the top of the lid.  The lid slides to the side and is attached to the tea pot at the back part of the handle.  The bars that are on each side of the handle appear to have some rust on them.  On the bottom of the tea pot is engraved "Griswold Erie, PA. U.S.A." inside a circle and a cross, and "A-513".  The inside shows use and stains from many years of boiling water.   It has its original patina as found at an estate sale.  It measures approx.7-7/8"  across the bottom; 6-1/2" from bottom to top of knob on lid; 10" from bottom to top of wood handle.  The handle moves up and down to the side.  There are some minor marks and scratches on it from age and use.  Other than this,
