Vintage MTE Co, Nutmeg grater, turn handle, Great Condition! Never Used

A nickle plated metal nutmeg grater made by the MTE company. “MTE Co.” is impressed in the company diamond shaped trademark on the front and back of the grater. This grater appears to have never been used. It is in splendid condition with only light marks of faint oxidation from age in the metal surface. It is in remarkably great condition for a vintage nutmeg grater. The digital photos tend to exaggerate the faint marks of oxidation, especially in enlarged close ups. In person it appears Near Mint. The MTE Co. grater is mentioned in the Linda Campbell book “300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles.” It was also called “The Ever Ready”.
