Beautiful grips for the Walther P38 and P1 pistols!   These are made of fine English walnut, checkered
with a diamond-point checkering and edged by a fine, laser-etched border.  The lower-left grip panel is designed to accommodate the lanyard loop in the heel of the pistol, too.  The checkering is extremely fine, providing a terrific grasp for the shooter of these classic pistols without being uncomfortable on the hands.  These are fantastic grips with beautiful, rich grain patterns on both

.  Checkered in a fine pattern to enhance both beauty and grip, these cover the backstrap of the gun and are secured by one grip screw, which is included.  See the photos for the exquisite detail present on each set.  These are so crisply made that you just know they're CNC

The classic Walther banner logo is present in the lower half of the grip on the BOTH PANELS; the left and right sides each have the Walther banner logo within the checkered area to provide a better gripping surface.  The last photo was taken with a camera flash (which reddens the image), but better detail can be seen in the photo, showing the engraving and checkering.
These grips come with a replacement grip screw for these grips, black in color to complement the rich walnut hue.  In the photos above, the same grip set is shown as an example.  Most of the images were taken without flash.  The shade of the grips will vary in different lighting, and each set differs in dark to light shades and grain as these are natural English walnut.  T

repaired easier than varnished grips should they be nicked or scratched.

The grips will really dress up your Walther P1/P38 at an affordable price.  These grips aren't synthetic; they are solid English walnut, not laminated, which has been oiled to protect the wood.  The upper portions are smooth-sided, too, so the wood's appearance really stands out.  The smooth surface brings out the grain and hues of the wood in a way that, unfortunately, we cannot adequately capture with my digital camera.
We have shown a representative selection of the grips, and you will receive a set similar to those shown.  Since Nature creates the wood, the patterns vary, but each and every pair of these grips are stunning.
These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no thumb rest.
This is a great way to improve the appearance and handling of your gun while adding the look of fine wood to your Walther.  They complement blued, coated or stainless guns equally well.
